As a professional photographer with more than 10 years of photography experience, Kim offers excellent photographic services for any occasion. 

She studied photography throughout high school and college, and has continued to take photography courses and perfect her craft over the years since graduating from college.


Photography is an ever evolving art form.  Kim is constantly learning new techniques and evolving her photography style to keep up with the latest trends, while continuing to provide the highest quality traditional portraiture. 


Kim prefers natural light portraits, but she also does traditional studio portraiture as well.  Most of her sessions occur outdoors because we live in a beautiful area with many gorgeous scenic backdrops to take advantage of.  However, she also has a full service studio in her home, or she can bring her portable studio equipment to your home or business location if you prefer.

Kim Larsen - Owner/photographer

As the Assistant Photographer for Kim Larsen Photography, David catches all of those moments that happen behind the scenes while Kim is focused on the major events.  At a wedding, he may be found getting shots of the groom and groomsmen getting ready, or he may be taking candids of the guests at the reception while Kim is getting photographs of the bride and groom.


He also assists during portrait shoots by adjusting lighting, holding reflectors and diffusers, assisting with posing, and he’s great at making the clients laugh and relax in front of the camera.


In the studio, he is a second set of eyes during the editing process.  He is invaluable when it comes time to choose the best poses to show the client, because as the photographer, Kim is often too attached to every shot to make an objective decision!
