First round of 2012 Holiday Cards!

I know it’s too early to be thinking about the holidays when we’ve barely even had a real summer around here, but I have to make sure my designs are ready for you when you are ready to order your holiday cards!  So, here is round one of my 2012 Holiday Card Designs!

If you have ordered cards from me before, or have considered it, you will be pleasantly surprised at the reduction in price for all cards this year!  Due to some cost changes on my end, I am able to pass the savings on to you!

Keep watching for more new designs.  I will be posting several other pre-designed holiday cards over the next few weeks.  All of the cards I post can have the colors/patterns altered to match your photographs and the feel you want for your cards.  If you would like a completely different design, I charge a $50 custom creation fee to create the design you want, no matter which type of cards you choose to order.

The world through a child’s eyes

We have a photographer-in-training at our house.  For about 6 months, Paige has been pretending to take pictures.  It started with one of my old tripods that she would carry around, pretend to look through a non-existent camera and say “click”.  After a while, we dug out our really old point & shoot camera and stuck it on the tripod.  I thought it still worked, just with a red line appearing in every image, but it turns out it was completely broken.  So, she still had to pretend, but at least she had an actual camera to pretend with.  Today, we took Paige out with our less-really-old point & shoot and let her have some fun.  Here are the results of Paige’s first photo adventure.

Kanna’s Senior Portrait Session {Marist High School Senior Portraits}

I am still trying to catch up on posting Senior Portraits for the class of 2012, and I’m already booking sessions for the incoming Senior Class of 2013.  Summer is the perfect time for incoming Seniors to book their outdoor Senior Portrait Sessions.  We can take advantage of the sun while we have it, and you can check one thing off your list before the craziness of Senior Year hits in September.  Now, back to the important stuff…pictures!

Not only is Kanna a gorgeous girl, but she is also a talented artist and athlete.  We incorporated both her love of drawing and track into her Senior Portrait Session.  I loved the clothes she brought to her session, especially her Homecoming dress!  She has an amazing sense of style and she was able to get such a variety in her senior pictures just by a few changes of clothes, accessories and the occasional prop.

I love using the Village Green Resort & Gardens in Cottage Grove, Oregon for portrait sessions.  There are so many different places to go on the property and there are new things blooming all the time, so every Senior Portrait Session can be unique.
