Outdoor Family Portraits {Cottage Grove, Oregon Photographer}

This is one of my favorite families! They are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and they all just love Paige! All of the girls have been in David’s band classes at one time or another, so we have known them for quite a few years now. I have photographed all three girls (two for Senior Portraits, and one Wedding), but this is the first time we have done a full family portrait session. We met at the Village Green Resort & Gardens on Superbowl Sunday morning and took a walk through the gardens on a surprisingly warm winter morning.

Next week, I’ll be posting some couple portraits of the oldest daughter and her husband. It was great to see them again…I haven’t really seen them since taking their wedding photographs in 2009.

Fall Family Portraits {Portland, Oregon Photographer}

I’m working on catching up on old sessions, so here’s one from Thanksgiving. This was a quick family portrait session at a park near their home in Portland. We had planned to do an indoor session in their garage, but we had some unexpectedly nice weather, so we decided to take the session outside.

I’m still here!

I’m embarrassed to admit that it’s been 2 months since my last blog post. With a hectic schedule before the holidays, traveling out of state during the holidays, and then just trying to get caught up in January (not to mention prepare for my daughter’s 2nd birthday last week!), the blog has been severely neglected.

I have lots of sessions to get caught up on, and I will be posting pictures from Paige’s birthday party as well, so stay tuned for lots of photo-heavy posts! I will try to space them out a bit over the next few weeks so you aren’t seeing everything all at once.:)

I also have a couple of new post ideas up my sleeve, so keep your eyes peeled for a fun new “community” feature!

I missed getting my newsletter sent out in January, but the February one is in the works as we speak, so don’t forget to sign up here if you want to get the exclusive, newsletter-only content delivered straight to your email box! I announce current specials, give photo tips, and sometimes a quick & easy recipe or craft project that I think you might enjoy, so don’t miss out!

Something went wrong with my last post. It was supposed to say I’ve missed your blog and glad you are back. Can’t wait for the pictures.

I just deleted the comment with the weird formatting…not sure what happened there!

1 year old twin girls {Cottage Grove, Oregon Photographer}

Rhoslyn and Carrigan came to my studio about three weeks ago for their first birthday portraits, and I am so excited to share some of their session with you! Carrigan is not one bit camera shy, and was ready and willing to give me lots of huge grins. Rhoslyn, on the other hand, was a little less enthusiastic and we had a little trouble keeping her happy. As it turns out, the next day, she had a tooth push it’s way through. Despite the tears, I still managed to catch a few smiles from Rhoslyn.
